Carla Medina Martinez, MSN, AGACNP-BC, earned her Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Rockhurst University in 2025.

Originally from Shawnee, Kansas, she relocated to Texas in 2022 and has continued to build on her passion for delivering compassionate, patient centered care.

Her clinical background includes extensive experience in intensive care and post acute care settings, providing her with a strong foundation in managing complex adult and geriatric health needs.

Carla offers a full spectrum of adult gerontology services and is dedicated to helping patients navigate every stage of their healthcare journey.

She values patient education, mentorship, and collaborative care, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.

Outside of work, Carla enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, reading, swimming, walking, caring for her chickens, and making memories with her three dogs, Bruno, Dutch, and Maximus. She is excited to continue learning, growing, and serving alongside the patients and providers at Elpis Healthcare.
